Amy Brown

Amy Brown is the Lead BCBA for Virginia Beach. She relocated to Virginia from her home state of Texas in October of 2023 to help start services for Commonwealth ABA in Virginia Beach. Amy has been working with children on the autism spectrum since 2008 when she started as a therapist. During that time, I received a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Studies at Texas Woman’s University in 2010, then a Masters in Counseling with an emphasis in Applied Behavior Analysis at Nova Southeastern University in 2014, and became a BCBA in 2015. Over the years, Amy has worked with children of all ages and across a variety of settings and has served in several different roles and capacities. Besides working with children, Amy is also passionate about training therapists and assisting in developing their skills in the field of ABA so they can provide high-quality treatment. Amy currently resides in Virginia Beach with her two chihuahuas. She enjoys going to the beach, running, hiking, lifting weights, and listening to true crime podcasts.

Lindsey Hawkins is the lead BCBA at New Albany, IN. She received her undergraduate degree at Indiana University and received her graduate degree from Ball State University. She received her BCBA certification in May 2019. She has worked with children from 2-19. Lindsey lives in Southern Indiana with her husband and her daughter. In her free time she enjoys being with family, reading and baking.

Alexis (AJ) Morlock is the Lead BCBA in the Henderson, Kentucky location. She lives in Indiana, but works in the Kentucky area. AJ completed her undergraduate psychology degree at the University of Southern Indiana. AJ got her Masters in Applied Behavioral Analysis program through Ball State University. Since then, she has received her BCBA certification in 2021 as well as obtaining her License in Behavioral Analysis to practice in the state of Kentucky. AJ has worked with children ages 2-15 across a variety of settings including home, community, and clinic. AJ started her ABA journey in January 2018 working as a RBT, and grew in the field of ABA becoming a BCBA to continue to help children and families learn coping strategies, functional communication, and many more skills needed to help develop independence. AJ lives in a small town in Indiana surrounded by her family. AJ volunteers with a group called Team G in Henderson spending time with adults who have Autism and other disabilities. In her free time, AJ enjoys spending time outdoors, spending time with her family, line dancing, listening to music, and traveling.

Jade Lewis

Jade Lewis is the Director of Outreach. She is originally from Mississippi, but relocated to Georgia shortly after completing her bachelor’s in psychology at the University of Southern Mississippi and obtaining her BCBA. Since then, she has received a master’s degree in special education with an emphasis in severe behavior disorders from Georgia State University and earned her BCBA certification in 2009. Jade has worked with children and adults of all ages and across a variety of settings. During the pandemic, Jade transitioned to a role that allowed her to utilize her 20+ years of experience to educate and inform families, other providers, and the community on the value of applied behavior analytic services. Jade lives in the Savannah, GA area with her husband and two daughters. Her son lives nearby and works in the aerospace field. In her free time, she enjoys Crossfit, attending her kids’ sports and activities, and hanging out in downtown Savannah with her husband and friends.

Brett Blevins, CEO and Founder of Commonwealth Autism Care, earned a Masters of Education from Georgetown College after acquiring his Bachelor’s Degree in Sports Business and Business Administration at Northern Kentucky University. He is a registered Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBA) from the Florida Institute of Technology. Brett has focused his passions by working with at-risk youth and individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities for over 20-years. In an effort to transform the ABA industry, Brett founded Commonwealth ABA with the goal of breaking down the barriers caregivers often face when seeking access to Autism care for their loved ones. Brett further focuses his passions on building effective teams to meet the increased demand in the autism and youth mental health spaces. He believes in the “not how, but who” approach as he develops the Commonwealth ABA network of BCBAs, Psychologists, and Registered Behavior Therapists (RBTs). Brett met his wife in 2013, who also works in youth behavioral health care as an LPCC. They have twin girls that love story time and arts and crafts. Brett played basketball growing up and coached youth sports. He enjoys watching his two nephews play basketball and baseball on their high school teams and hanging out with his nieces for family get-togethers.

She divides her time in serving as a Telehealth BCBA and a Maxwell Leadership Certified speaker, teacher, trainer, and coach. Brynn also volunteers with the Connections Team and the Disabilities and Inclusion Ministry at Forest Hill Church. Brynn has worked with children, adolescents, and adults with learning differences and disabilities for over 15 years as a volunteer, therapist, and coach. Her unique background has allowed her to identify medical concerns in her clients that had been previously overlooked and helped connect those clients to other clinical professionals equipped to address their medical needs. Brynn is a strong communicator and collaborator who feels strongly about empowering others to achieve success. During her spare time, Brynn enjoys learning German and Spanish on Duolingo and going for walks with her calico cat, Meeshka.

She earned a Masters (M.A.) degree and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Clinical Psychology from the University of the Cumberlands, after acquiring her undergraduate degree in Psychology at Eastern Kentucky University. Additionally, she completed a Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) program at Union College. She has experience working in multiple mental health settings including inpatient psychiatric, long-term care facilities, outpatient facilities, home-based interventions, and school-based interventions. She has experience in providing behavioral supports for individuals on the autism spectrum and individuals with intellectual disabilities as well as completing guardianship evaluations. Dr. Meyers is a mental health diagnostician and is familiar with numerous psychological assessments that allow her the ability to diagnose and offer interventions in the way of Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, PTSD, Major Depressive Disorder, Intellectual Disability, Anxiety Disorder, Personality Disorders and so on.
